Her career has taken many paths... from working on cruise ships to being stranded at sea to finding herself behind the microphone at various radio stations, to writing a bi-weekly column called "Fifty Shades of Ray" sharing stories of her daily life. Lisa Ray has become a phoenix rising again and again, transforming herself as she continues to strive and learn.
Having no formal training in painting, yet having been introduced to Paint Pouring and a Whimsical Doodle style of painting through friends Lisa Ray was immediately inspired. Then in the midst of a pandemic and with time on her hands she was looking for a creative distraction, and found herself putting paint to canvas. Lisa Ray has thoroughly enjoyed creating her Groovy Cats and getting paint everywhere!
